Acting Classes at MCT
​
At the Montreal Children's Theatre, our acting classes inspire creativity, build confidence, and encourage self-expression in children of all ages. Through fun, interactive lessons, students explore voice, movement, improvisation, and character development in a supportive and inclusive environment. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to refine their skills, our experienced instructors guide them every step of the way—fostering both personal growth and a love of the performing arts.

Various programs are available for kids from age 4 to 17 years old.
Dance Program at MCT
​
Our dance program offers children a dynamic and joyful way to express themselves through movement. Designed to complement our acting curriculum, these classes help students develop rhythm, coordination, and stage presence. From creative movement for younger children to more structured choreography for older students, our program encourages physical confidence, artistic exploration, and a strong foundation in performance skills—all in a fun, inclusive setting.

Musical Theatre at MCT

Our musical theatre program brings together acting, singing, and dancing in an exciting and dynamic way. We offer separate classes tailored to different skill levels, ensuring that both beginners and more experienced performers are challenged and supported appropriately. Students learn to tell stories through performance while developing their abilities across all three disciplines. With engaging scenes, songs, and ensemble numbers from popular musicals, the program fosters confidence, collaboration, and stage presence in a fun and supportive environment where every child can shine.

​Starlight Players at MCT
​
The Starlight Players program at Montreal Children’s Theatre offers theatre and musical theatre classes and workshops for young adults on the autism spectrum and/or facing social challenges.. This inclusive and empowering program invites participants to explore acting, movement, music, and creative expression in a supportive environment. With experienced instructors—including specialists in drama therapy—and collaborations with Concordia University’s Drama Therapy department, each class is thoughtfully tailored to individual needs. Students build confidence, communication skills, and a strong sense of belonging—all while discovering the joy of performance.
